Accessibility Statement

1. Our Commitment
SwimLytic wants every swimmer, regardless of ability, to be able to use our website and our app. We are committed to making our digital products accessible, taking the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA as our reference standard, and to improving accessibility continuously as the product evolves.
2. Measures in Place
The swimlytic.com website currently includes:
- Keyboard navigation: interactive elements (links, buttons, forms) are reachable and operable with the keyboard;
- Color contrast: text and interface colors designed to meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios against their backgrounds;
- Alternative text: meaningful images carry text alternatives; decorative visuals are marked so screen readers can skip them;
- Legible typography: readable font sizes, generous line spacing, and text that scales with browser zoom without loss of content;
- Semantic structure: headings, landmarks, and labels that allow screen readers to understand and navigate the page;
- Descriptive links: link texts that make sense out of context.
3. Known Limitations
We are transparent about what is not perfect yet:
- The mobile app is in beta, and its accessibility review (screen reader labels, dynamic type, contrast in all states) is still in progress.
We are actively working on this.
4. Feedback and Reporting Barriers
If you encounter any accessibility barrier on the website or in the app, please tell us about anything you could not read, reach, operate, or understand:
- Email: henrique@swimlytic.com (subject "Accessibility")
Reports are reviewed by the team and answered within 15 business days. Your feedback directly shapes our accessibility roadmap.
5. Continuous Improvement
Accessibility is treated as an ongoing effort, not a one-time checklist. This statement is reviewed and updated as the website and the app evolve.
